Batteries with this unit will not hold a charge. They were either poor quality to begin with or they are old depleted Amazon stock. Save your money. I later purchased rechargeable batteries and charger from Walmart (Rayovac $6.00)and they work great.
i bought this charger with my camera but when i wanted to charge my batteries it did not charge any one, i called customer service they sent me return lable i sent back never got back any charger or money crdit to my credit card.i dont have time to call them and spend hours.
This pack of batteries worked well until it was time for them to be recharged. I left the pack plugged in for 2 (two) days and still not charged. Might as well have bought regular disposable batteries.
It was a waste of money and I am most upset that I have to throw this product out, adding waste to the landfills which I was trying to avoid by buying rechargeables in the first place. I will have a hard time bringing myself to give them my money again with this product still listed as an option.
They are absolutely worthless. (My official rating is no stars) This battery charging system was recomended to me by Amazon.com when I bought my CanonA590IS, and on SALE.
I sincerely believe Amazon should remove this product. They have been getting progressively worse.
I recently charged them over night and took them backpacking, both sets showed a low battery signal immediately and were good for 5-10 pictures(rapidly taken to save power). Amazon is hustling its customers when they choose to continue to sell this product knowing full well how awful it is(see other glaring reviews that suddenly popped up in 2009, no doubt as others, like myself, bought digital cameras around Christmas with the great deal suggested by Amazon for the digicrap).
Ironic.
Now just about all reviews are bad. It rates a NEGATIVE 5 STARS.1. When I purchased this as a gift in Dec. I also had no reply from company. 3. Lucky not out a lot of money. I gave it a ONE STAR as you got to put something.
2. had two reviews both good. The charger light goes on when you plug it in but never extinguishes so you never know when the batteries are charged. I have copied another review below same thing for me. Do not buy this item. I charged the batteries for 24 hours and two of them lasted less than an hour in my digital camera (I took no movies and regular alkaline batteries lasted for days). I went to the Digipower web site and the company is not selling this model any more.
